welcome to the advanced broadcast journalism class at Carthage High School.
I have spent more than 20 years in the field of Professional Television Broadcast as an anchor and reporter. My last five years I traveled extensively for ABC News while working at KTRK in Houston, Texas.
The stories I covered made a difference in my life by allowing me to see history unfold in front of me.
From the stand-off in Waco to the Oklahoma City explosion, from Columbine to the Atlanta Olympic Bombing, I know how to get a story right, and get it on the air.
I want to teach you the hows and whys of video journalism. We don't watch TV in my class, We Make It.
